  • old school

and now...  an old school tom post.

i'm tired, and i hate working on websites.

was in a 5.8 earthquake today, my biggest yet.  it was fun.  like, 15 seconds of "umm, should i be doing something other than grinning and wondering if i should be doing something?" fun.  nothing too crazy happened, just some action figures and a monitor went down in the office.
where were you when it all went down, do tell!

oh yeah, mom and marty visited again...  a while ago.  we went to sequoia national park.  beautiful.  i uploaded pics a while back but forgot to tell.

after that kath and i went to portland to see casey and abbe schilperoort (sp?).  it was so relaxing and portland is beautiful. thanks guys!

i'm doing effects at supervillain now.  it's a good change for me.  it's fresh and i get to learn some new things.  it seems it may be my sole responsibility on this project. fun!

i'm taking a new route to work.  there's more bike lanes and less lights, so it's safer.  it's also half a mile longer, but i get there in the same amount of time.

i might get to playtest left 4 dead at valve. hawt.

    time for a clove.

    and a beer.

i know more people read this than just those who comment, please say something!  is my blog that boring!? (hi lurkers)

    and gnite.

you were in portland and didn't tell the little's?  hmm... you know it's only like 2.5 hours away.  bad swoggers!  i think you owe us a visit now..  you can spell our names, i think that warrants a trip :)  we're going back to AR in about 2 months.  crazy, eh?  i think we all got out and sold our houses before things got too bad, but it's looking good for buying once we get out there.  3/2s for 75k?  crazy!  lol, i read news reports about the quake - they say it was like a big earthquake drill... weird.  who looks at a 5.8 as a drill?  There, I have unclassified myself as said "lurker" now you should visit us.  Yes?

hah, know what?  my wife reads this international flight stewardess' blog because it's like her 'whatif' avenue in life.

    ...and I read tom's blog.

    Sooooo..... back on my login.

Left 4 Dead... WOW beta... my heart beats for your treats.  'though I did just begin doing some awesome stuff for money which I sadly am not supposed to put up on the interwebs openly that I do.  Which just saying that is awesome enough.  And I do  have some cloves.  And had a nice hefeweizen in church yesterday (eh... monday?).  And we just got one of those newfangled wireless laptops, which we eagerly await fedex to bring to our door every day.

Oh.... -and- I'll be getting a motorcycle in arkansas, the kind I'm looking at ranges in mpg from 45-60 on the highway.  Fitted with a hydrogen booster the mpg would range from 70-85 and 85-95 mpg respectively. that's hawt.

I am not sure if I count as a lurker. I read all the new blog on my email and then say, "Haha, that was funny/interesting/whatever, I should get online and post a comment." And then I don't. Because I have satelite and it is slow. Like my mom on the highway.

Of course, you can guess, I am totally jealous that you got to experience an earthquake. I lived out west for 21 years and nary a jiggle (I lived in Vegas but was in Cali a lot). Thank you for at least enjoying the experience. I makes me feel like it wasn't wasted!!
